St Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangalore and St Aloysius College Alumni Association (SACAA) in association with Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Medical College and hospital organised a day long free medical camp for the teaching and non teaching staff of St Aloysius Institutions in -- General Screening, Dental Check up, Dermatology, Oncology, and Optholmology on 20 September 2023 at the Sahodaya hall.

Incidentally Dr Abdullah Kunhi Hon'able Chancellor of the Yenepoya University is an Alumnus of St Aloysius College.

Raiganj, September 14, 2023 – St. Xavier's School, Raiganj, marked a significant milestone as it is celebrating its Silver Jubilee year with an exciting inter-school football tournament that brought together talent, sportsmanship, and a sense of unity. The event, held on the 13th and 14th of September, 2023, at the school's own grounds, was a testament to the school's enduring commitment to excellence in both academics and sports.

The tournament featured eight enthusiastic teams, each vying for the coveted championship title. The participants exhibited exemplary skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition, creating an electrifying atmosphere on the field.

After two days of intense matches, St. Thomas School, Rahutara, emerged as the triumphant champions, claiming the championship trophy. Their journey to victory was filled with exciting moments and exceptional game play that captivated the audience.

Not even a month has passed since it was brought to the notice of Vincentians (past students of St.Vincents High School Pune), that the brother of an past Teacher of St.Vincents, required to undergo urgent surgery to save his life.

As always, checks (investigation) were done and contact made with the teacher, a past student who knows the teacher, her brother & his medical history was confirmed.

After confirming the shortfall of funds for his treatment, it was decided to connect with our Vincentian Family to step in.

Richard Fernandes (batch of 1978) spear-headed the fund raising effort and we reached the targetted Rs.2.5 Lakh.So we announce a HARD STOP to the fund collection effort.

Surgery was successfully conducted and Keith is recovering.

We thank all the contributors and we also thank those praying for Keith. We request for continued prayers for his complete recovery post surgery.

St. Xavier's Alumni Association organized an Inter-House Quiz Competition for High School Students and Sit-n-Draw painting Competition for Primary Students on Saturday, 9 September 2023. Around 400 primary students participated in the Sit-n-Draw Painting Competition held in two groups - Class I & II in one group and Class III, IV & V in another group. In the both the groups, One Gold Medal, One Silver Medal and Three Bronze Medals were awarded.

The Judge for the event was also an alumnus of 1990 Batch - Shri Ashish Asthana, Visiting Faculty at NIFT, Patna and Dr. Ajay Pandey, Principal, College of Arts & Craft, Patna University.

For the Inter-House Quiz Competition, a screening written test was held on 26-08-2023 to select three members of all the four houses viz Panthers, Tigers, Lions & Leopards. Around 750 high school students participated in the screening test. The finals held on 09-09-2023 was very interesting, exciting and nerve-wracking.

St. Paul's High School Belagavi emerged victorious in the 55th Fr. Eddie Memorial Football Tournament 2023 after a thrilling penalty shootout. The match was intense, with Love Dale School putting up an impressive performance.

St. Paul's High School Belagavi showcased their exceptional skills and determination throughout the tournament, ultimately securing the championship in a nail-biting finale. The heart-wrenching match reached its climax during the penalty shootout, where both teams displayed their prowess and resilience.

Love Dale School, despite their valiant efforts, fell short in the end. However, their commendable performance throughout the game deserves recognition. They exhibited great sportsmanship and played exceptionally well, making the match a memorable one for all spectators.

LAA hosted an alumni football match between ex-students on Sunday 3rd September 2023 at Loyala School grounds.

The teams were divided into the President's XI and Secretary's XI.

Grown men were transformed into young boys as they played with passion and determination like the years gone by.

President's XI won the match 2-0. There was great sportsmanship and camaraderie between the teams both on and off the field truly demonstrating the spirit of Loyala School Jamshedpur.
