Doranda Old Xaverians and St. Xavier's School, Doranda, Ranchi organized their Mega Annual Event "UTSAAH", the Two-Day Inter-School Cultural Fiesta and Carnival on 23-24 January 2016.
On 23rd, 12 Schools participated in the day-long event. 6 Stalls for Games and Food were managed and manned by students of each participating school. Each School presented two cultural stage shows, depicting Unity in Diversity. Dance forms from all over India and and other countries were presented, main ones being from Japan, Europe, Africa, Tibbet and Nepal.
The best performing teams were called-back for presenting their shows before the public-at-large on 24th January.
The formative objectives of the arrangements were : leadership development, opportunities to learn selling, marketing skills, facing rejections, objections and refusals from society, communication skills, group work etiquettes, trust and confidence, etc.

On 17th & 18th December, We at Loyola Alumni Association presented "Ability Unlimted" for Students, Alumni and citizens of Jamshedpur. The program was highly appreciated.. More than 3100 students, alumni and citizens of JSR watched the show in 2 days.
The alumni dinner on 18th after the program had an attendance of over 550, highest ever in LAA history.

Campions school Old Boys Association (COBA) organized "Surmanthan"a musical extravanza on Sunday 01-November2015 at the Campion School, auditorium in Bhopal
Over 700 attended an evening of nostalgic music from Hindi cinema over the years performed by music artist Shri Rajiv Singh.

Doranda Old Xaverians, Ranchi (DOX) organized a fantastic musical evening in association with SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music, Art and Culture Amongst Youth) on Sunday, 6th September 2015 at the School Auditorium of St. Xavier's School, Doranda, Ranchi.
The performance was presented by the world renowned Mohan Veena Maestro Pundit Salil Bhatt. He was accompanied on Tabla by the nationally famous percussionist Pundit Kaushik Ji.
The program of two hours was well attended by students of St. Xavier's School, their parents and guardians, Teachers and Staff of the School and DOX members.
The objective of the program : To Expose and Indoctrine Xaverian Students and their Families to the richness and heritage of Indian Classical Music, Art and Culture; was well accomplished by the presence and exuberant & spell-binding performance of the duo classical maestros.

Three Young Doranda Old Xaverians (DOX), the alumnus of St. Xavier's School, Doranda, Ranchi bring laurels to their Alma Mater in the 2015 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Administrative Services Finals.
Mr. Srijan Shandilya of the 2006 Passing Out Batch ICSE qualified for the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
Mr. Naman Priyesh Lakra of the 2004 Passing Out Batch ICSE qualified for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
Mr. Nitin Ranjan of the 2002 Passing Out Batch ICSE qualified for the Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
These three DOX were formally acknowledged and honoured in the School Assembly on 23rd August 2015 in the presence of the senior DOX members.
These brilliant lads shared their "Secrets of Success" with the High School Boys and Girls and gave them tips for a successful career ahead in life.
Later, their success stories were informally discussed thread-bare in a HighTea Party hosted by the School.

On 4 August the Former Students of St.Xaviers Doranda (DOXA) lead by Dr. Devendra Singh our vice president gave an awareness programme to all the students of St.Xaviers Hazaribag from class 4 to class 12. This was future looking and also meant to enthuse parents of the students to give blood for the students They were were asked by Dr. Singh and other members of DOXA to ask their parents if they donate blood.
On 5 August, the birthday of the late Fr. John Moore s.j., founder of the school, HOXA(St.Xaviers Hazaribag Former Students Association) in cooperation with the local Red Cross, organised a blood donation camp. The first to give blood were the Principal of the school, Fr. P.J.James s.j. and the Vice :Principal, Mr. Cyprian Surin. 98 persons came to give blood and 80 were accepted to donate blood.
This camp was a good example of collaboration between alumni/ae associations.
