JAAI Awards

Introduction

The JAAI Award is a novel concept that is proposed to be introduced at the national level and awarded triennially. The awards are instituted with the intention to recognize exceptional work done in the field of strengthening the Jesuit Alumni network across the country. The awards should also be able to inspire various alumni associations to engage in activities and events in line with the objectives of JAAI.
The awards would also help in knowledge sharing and give JAAI an opportunity to bestow recognition. A healthy competition would be fostered and can help the associations work towards further strengthening the alumni network.

Objectives

The awards are instituted with the aim to make it a sustainable affair over the years and help the associations gel in line with the aims and objectives of JAAI. The objectives shall be fundamental to defining the categories of the awards
1. The awards are instituted for
a. Bona fide alumni of a Jesuit Alumnae Association registered with JAAI.
b. Bona fide alumni association registered with JAAI.
c. Jesuit Institute being run by Jesuits.
d. Individual in the employ of a Jesuit Institute / Jesuit Alumnae association registered with JAAI.
2. The awards are instituted to recognize extraordinary efforts of an association in furthering the aims and objectives of JAAI as defined in its constitution or its charter from the last Congress.
3. The awards are instituted to recognize efforts put in to strengthen the Jesuit Alumnae network by the contributing in the following ways:
a. Working towards growing the alumni network.
b. Working towards bringing alumni from diverse geographies and domains on a single platform.
c. Introducing ideas, campaigns or concepts that are sustainable and that work towards a stronger alumni network.
4. The awards are instituted to recognize efforts that popularize JAAI or Alumnae associations whereby attracting more alumni to be an active part if JAAI.
5. The awards are instituted to recognize contribution in terms of selfless service in achieving the objectives of JAAI.
