Today marks the successful conclusion of the second Fr. Anthony Gatt Memorial Annual Wellness Camp, a week-long initiative.

This achievement underscores the dedication of our medical team, including Dr. Devesh Kumar (ICSE 1992), Dr. Mukesh Kumar (ICSE 1994), Dr. Sulabh Suman (ICSE 1999), Dr. Srija Krishna (ICSE 2002), Dr. Kumari Snehlata (ICSE 2005), Dr. Manikanat Mani (ICSE 2005), Dr. Rahul Verma (ICSE 2005), Dr. Aman Kumar (ICSE 2008), and Dr. Raman Kumar Choudhary (ICSE 2014). We express sincere gratitude for their commitment, time, and the thorough tests and consultations they conducted.

Special thanks are extended to Sr. Pushpa DSH for her generosity in providing access to the school dispensary, equipments, and medical supplies as needed.

A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to Mr. Uday Kumar (ICSE 1994), Mr. Sarwesh Choudhary (ICSE 2013), and Mr. Vivek Bharti (ICSE 2014) for their dedicated volunteer work throughout the camp.

Shridhar Derasari ( APX President & past JAAI WZ council member ), Bhaumik Thaklr ( past JAAI VP & former TEXA President also TOXA member ), Dharmesh and team ( the young guns of TOXA ) and APX Chairman & Manager of St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Fr. Francis too briefly remained present. A fulfilling session it was and so much information & experience was shared and discussed.

Rev Fr Praveen Martis SJ, Principal, Dr. Alwyn DSa, Registrar, Dr. Denis Fernandes, Director Arrupe Block, and Dr. Ronald Nazareth, RISHII coordinator, participated in the sixth general meeting of the RISHII project held at JNU, New Delhi from December 6 to 8, 2023.

The RISHII project, co-funded by the Erasmus program of the European Union and facilitated by Deusto University Bilbao, Spain, aims to foster International collaboration in higher education.

During the meeting, the strategic Internationalisation plan of St Aloysius College was presented showcasing the institution's commitment to global engagement and academic excellence. This collaborative effort indicates the college's dedication to embrace international perspectives and enriching the academic experience for its students.

The Sahibganj Old Xaverians Association Gathering, spanning December 9th and 10th, 2023, stood as a poignant testament to the enduring connections and collective memories among former students.

Day 1: December 9, 2023

The day commenced with a convivial breakfast at 8:00 AM, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for attendees to reconnect and share cherished anecdotes. The 8:45 AM assembly with current school students was a symbolic gesture, representing the seamless transfer of legacy and emphasizing the timeless connection between past and present generations within the Sahibganj Old Xaverians community.

Loyola Alumni Association, Jamshedpur conducted medical camp at Loyola School, Jhiling which is situated at 70 km from Jamshedpur in the interior clusters of Bengal.

402 Patients were treated free of cost by our Doctors and Free Medicine was also given to each person there. This was the 1st of the 5 medical camps scheduled for next 3 months.

On behalf of LAA, we would like to THANK YOU ALL our Doctors and Volunteers for sacrificing their Sunday to help make the Medical Camp at Loyola School Jhiling a Grand Success .
