It was on the 10th of May on a sweltering evening when the merry band of North Pointers from St Josephs College ( School Dept) Darjeeling congregated together in the cool environs of The Saturday Club , Kolkata to spend a memorable occasion together among themselves , cutting across all barriers of seniority , age , caste and religion , a virtue synonymous with that rare true blue North Point ethos .

The highlight of the evening was to felicitate and honour their former teachers like Mr S.K Jha , Mrs Lekha Venkat and to also welcome the new North Point management like the Rector Fr K.L George S.J and Principal Fr Lawrence Manniar S.J . In attendance of the proceedings were Fr Felix Raj S.J , Vice Chancellor of St Xaviers University Rajarhat Campus , Kolkata.
