The 85 th Sports Day of the St Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad was scheduled on Sunday, 8 th Dec.

The first half at 8.30 am had the Primary section and the second half at 2.30 pm had the higher classes compete for sporting glory on track and field.

APX ( Association of Past Xavierites ) partook on the March past both times and a cycle race and 100 meters sprint in the latter half. Alumni/ae were present in large numbers. All stake holders and collaborators together ie management , staff, parents , students, alumnus and benefactors make such programs all the more productive and fulfilling.

The institute was a clear winner on the sports day.

Children’s day celebrations at St Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad.

The students contributed from their pocket money and APX ( Association of Past Xavierites ) sponsored the MANDAP and were present for this annual program.

Over 1000 underprivileged kids from slums were invited and the games in the stalls, interaction , lunch and an entertainment program later in the day will ensure their smiles to make their day.

The management led by Principal Fr Charles ( also JAAG chairman and PCA, Gujarat Province ), staff, students , alumni and parents make such programs possible. These are the stake holders and collaborators who support the institute and cause

Association of Past Xavierites ( APX ) co-hosted the St Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad annual Navratri Garba eve on the school grounds on Tues 8 th Oct. This was a well attended Navratri/Dusshera program, over 6000 people enjoyed this cultural revelry and this included students, staff, management, alumni/ae and parents. The Provincial for Gujarat Province was also present along with several other dignitaries from all walks of life.

APX wishes everyone on this occasion.

Many Jesuit institutes across Gujarat hosted Garba on their premises, well supported by alumni and benefactors.

APX (Association of Past Xavierites , St Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall) played against the school team in the annual football match today morning on the school grounds. Witnessed by the students , management , staff and alumni the ‘young’ alumni team with an average age of 40 plus ( including a couple of them over 50 ) prevailed over the school team 1/0. The game consisted of two halves , 25 minutes each. This is a bonding exercise between the past and present , the bridge to a better today for a brighter tomorrow.
