Inaugural Alumni Meet at SXS, Purnia

The alumni of St. Xavier's School, Purnia, including those from the ICSE batches of 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22, assembled in Purnia for the inaugural alumni association meeting.

The driving force behind this gathering was Rev. Fr. John Ravi SJ, the honourable Principal, who aimed to foster a stronger bond among former students. Joined by notable figures such as Rev. Fr. Alban Minj SJ, the PCA of Dumka-Raiganj Province, Mr. Amit Mishra, the Secretary of SOXA, Mr. Manish Poddar, the Treasurer of SOXA, and Dr. Aman Kumar, a consultant Doctor from Sahibganj, the meeting was set in motion with a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.

During the session, the alumni representatives of SOXA engaged with alumni of St. Xavier's School, Purnia, emphasizing the value of an alumni association and outlining the necessary steps for establishing one in Purnia. Their insightful interactions with the students reflected a deep commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and community among past and present members of the school.

Under the capable leadership of SOXA members, the meeting proceeded smoothly, with discussions ranging from organizational strategies to heartfelt reminiscences of their beloved late teacher, Rev. Fr. Robinson SJ. The attendees paid tribute to Fr. Robinson, commemorating his lasting impact on their lives and education. This touching tribute exemplified the enduring connections formed within the St. Xavier's community.

As the meeting drew to a close, a palpable sense of enthusiasm and camaraderie permeated the room, leaving a lasting impression of unity and shared purpose. Rev. Fr.
